Today's warm, sunny, high pressure day led to the biggest hirundine day of the autumn so far with hundreds of Swallows being replaced by hundreds of House Martins this afternoon, with the addition of al few Sand Martins too. The warm, calm conditions made migration easy for most, with an increase in Robins and Meadow Pipits too.
The Western Bonelli's Warbler was still in Quarter Wall Copse, and there was a good arrival of Chiffchaff and Blackcap in Millcombe too, including six of the former caught and four of the latter.
